On February 21-22, 2025, Diocesan Primate Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan performed his first priestly ordination in the Eastern Diocese, ordaining Deacon Serop Krajekian into the holy priesthood of the Armenian Church, and bestowing him with the new name: “Father Nerses.”
Holy Archangels Armenian Church of St. Michael and St. Gabriel, in Haverhill, MA, will host the 123rd Diocesan Assembly, bringing together clergy, delegates, and faithful from across the Eastern Diocese. The Assembly sessions will convene on May 1-3, 2025, preceded by the Clergy Conference

Yesterday, the St Garabed Armenian Church was privileged to have Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan visit the Kansas City mission parish, and celebrate the Divine Liturgy with the faithful community. Though small in number, the St Garabed parish is mighty in faith, embodying the resilience, heritage, and unwavering spirit of the Armenian Christian identity.
Diocesan Primate Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan visited St. Sarkis Church in Charlotte, NC, over the weekend of February 15-16, to mark the parish’s Name Day and its 20th anniversary.
