When the pandemic crisis is past, what will the “new normal” be like? Bishop Daniel speaks to the anxieties arising from that question in his latest online video message.
His words look to our faith for guidance and comfort, emphasizing words from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6:33-34), which Jesus delivered in another time of anxiety, to people who were also uncertain about what the future would bring. “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,” the Lord counseled, “and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
Listen and pray along with Bishop Daniel in his short meditation about finding peace of mind in anxious times.
