A concert titled “Komitas Vartabed 150,” honoring the anniversary of the composer’s birth, will take place at St. Vartan Cathedral (630 Second Ave., New York City) on Saturday, Sep. 28, at 7:30 p.m. The St. Vartan Cathedral Choir and its soloists—including Anahit Zakaryan, Anoosh Barclay, Hasmik Mekanejian, Solange Merdinian, and Alvard Mayilian—will perform under the direction of Maestro Khoren Mekanejian; Hayk Arsenyan will play piano.
