A day-long conference on empowering Orthodox Christian women, titled “Walking in Strength and Spirit: The Power of Orthodox Femininity,” will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at St. Leon Armenian Church (12-61 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn, NJ). Sessions include a keynote address by Dr. Roberta Irvine (St. Nersess Armenian Seminary), with panelists from the Coptic, Ethiopian, Eritrean, Malankara, Syriac traditions; workshops and breakouts; prayer; lunch.
