Statement by the North American Primates and Diocesan Councils
We express our deep concern over the recent troubling statements and social media posts circulating about the Armenian Church in the public sphere. In these particularly difficult days for our homeland, such messages only serve to fracture our internal unity.
For more than 1,700 years, the Armenian Church has been the beating heart of our nation—a sacred place where the divine meets the human, where God dwells among His people. To demean our holy institutions and those who serve them is to display disregard for the very soul of our nation.
We therefore strongly urge that all such personal statements and posts cease immediately. Let us instead renew our commitment to spiritual and moral values, so that we may foster unshakable unity, for the strength of our homeland and the enduring mission of our Holy Church.
In this moment, silence is our safeguard—a sacred space where, through prayer and with God’s guidance, lasting solutions can emerge.

Հիւսիսային Ամերիկայի թեմակալ երեք հոգեւոր առաջնորդներս և թեմական խորհուրդի անդամներսխորապէս մտահոգ ենք օրերս հանրութեան շրջանակներէն ներս տարածուող Հայ Եկեղեցւոյ մասին անհաճոյ յայտարարութիւններով եւ գրառումներով, որոնք յատկապէս հայրենիքի այս դժուարին օրերունմիայն կը ջլատեն մեր ներքին միասնականությունը։
Աւելի քան 1700 տարի է, որ Հայ Եկեղեցին եղած է մեր ազգին բաբախող սիրտը։ Հոս աստուածայինը կըհանդիպի մարդկայինին, եւ Աստուած կը բնակի Իր ժողովուրդին հետ։ Մեր սրբավայրերը եւ անոր սպասաւորները անարգանքով զեղչելը՝ մեր ազգի հոգիին հանդէպ անտարբերութիւն ցուցաբերել է։
Արդ, կը յորդորենք , որ անյապաղ կասեցուին բոլոր տեսակի անհատական գրառումները ու յայտարարութիւնները, որպէսզի հոգևոր ու բարոյական արժեքներու գերագոյն գիտակցութեամբ ձեռքբերենք անխախտելի միասնակամութիւն յանուն մեր հայրենիքի ու մեր Սուրբ եկեղեցու անսասանութեան։Այս պահին լռութիւնը երաշխիքն է լուծումներու ձեռքբերման աղօթքով ու Աստծոյ օգնականութեամբ։
