The Eastern Diocese’s Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center will host an online Krapar (Գրաբար) reading course, “Medieval Armenian Poetry,” on Monday afternoons, from Jan. 13 to Mar. 31, at 2-4 p.m. EST. The course, which meets over the Zoom online platform, will be taught by Dr. Jesse Arlen using poetic texts chosen from the rich treasury of medieval Armenian literature. Please note that some familiarity with the basics of Classical Armenian grammar, or reading and writing knowledge of Modern Armenian, is recommended for participants in order to benefit from the course.
