The Eastern Diocese’s Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center will host a lecture on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m., in Yerevan Room of the Diocesan Center (630 Second Ave., at 35th St., New York City). Tamar Purut will give an interactive talk on the life and legacy of the medieval Armenian poet Frik, titled “Frik’s Relatable Freakshow: Echoes of Faith and Endurance for Confronting Today’s Geopolitical Turmoil.” Admission is free; all are welcome. E-mail zohrabcenter@armeniandiocese.org for details.
