The Eastern Diocese’s Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center will host a lecture on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m., in Haik and Alice Kavookjian Auditorium of the Diocesan Center (630 Second Ave., New York City). Architect David Hotson will give an illustration presentation, “Raising Awareness of Armenian History through the Design of St. Sarkis Church.” The church in Dallas, TX, was designed by Mr. Hotson, consecrated on April 24, 2022, and later honored as the U.S. Building of the Year. In the time since, Mr. Hotson has become a passionate advocate for Armenian causes ranging from Genocide recognition to the rights of Artsakh. A reception will follow the lecture, organized by the Zohrab Center under the auspices of Diocesan Primate Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan. E-mail zohrabcenter@armeniandiocese.org for details.
