“Christ as Hope” is new module from the Eastern Diocese’s digital ministries platform, VEMKAR, which is set to make its online debut on Tuesday, July 6.
Through “Christ as Hope,” VEMKAR will explore the Armenian Church’s teachings about the precious spiritual gift of Hope—and how the source of trueHope lies in Jesus Christ.
The module will give faithful of all ages across the Eastern Diocese—and the world—access to inspirational multimedia resources, drawn from the sacred tradition of the Armenian Church, to provide opportunities for online and in-person worship, education, and service.
VEMKAR also offers a schedule of “Live Sessions” to accompany the “Christ as Hope” module: a series of online lectures, discussions, classes, and instructional seminars that invite participation from faithful of all ages, in every Armenian Church locality.
The schedule kicks off on Tuesday, July 6, at 7 p.m. EDT, with a keynote talk on “Christ as Hope” by Diocesan Primate Bishop Daniel. Click here to register for that special gathering on the Zoom video platform.
