Throughout the coming week (April 26-30), the Eastern Diocese will continue its online gatherings for young people. This marks the sixth week of the online fellowship initiative called #StayHome and #StayConnected.
The project has been launched by the Diocese’s Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, to keep young people connected virtually while they stay home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As in prior weeks, each program will be led by a member of the clergy, Diocesan staff, or ACYOA Central Council. All events begin at 7 p.m. EDT (6 p.m. CDT), using Zoom Video Conferencing.
Programs last about an hour, and include a “Diving Deep Discussion” for ACYOA Seniors (on Sunday, April 26); a “Teen Talk” for ACYOA Juniors (April 28); and a “Campfire Chat” for Campers ages 8-15 (April 30).
To register and receive the Zoom Video link for Week 6, participants should click on the following link to fill out a Google Survey. (When registering, please use the names of the participants, not the parent. If you are registering multiple people in your family who will be logging in on different devices, please complete a registration for each participant.)
Additional online forums are planned for the weeks ahead—and your ideas and suggested topics are most welcome. For information and questions, please reach out to DiocesanYouthMinistries@gmail.com.
